Led Zeppelin reunites for their first full scale
performance in London
by Timothy Tilghman
The reunion that aging rock and roll fans the globe over have been waiting for finally went down at the O2 Arena in London on Monday, December 10, 2007. Led Zeppelin formally reunited before an ecstatic sell out crowd in tribute to the late Amhet Ertegun, founder of Atlantic Records, who passed away peacefully on December 14, 2006.
Original members John Paul Jones (bass), Jimmy Page (guitar) and Robert Plant (vocals) were joined by Jason Bonham on drums, the son of their deceased drummer John Bonham. The reunion event had actually been postponed for two weeks to allow Page's broken finger to heal sufficiently.
London setlist: Good Times * Bad Times * Ramble On * Black Dog * In My Time Of Dying * For Your Life * Trampled Under Foot * Nobody's Fault But Mine * No Quarter * Since I've Been Loving You * Dazed And Confused * Stairway To Heaven * The Song Remains The Same * Misty Mountain Hop * Kashmir * Encore: Whole Lotta Love * Rock And Roll
